Memory Cards - Backup RAM
Since 2023-08-09 the Saturn core has the capability to save your game progress. In order to use the memory card you must first initialize it.
Some games need an initialized memory card to start.
- Start the core and wait for the load screen to come up
- On this screen select 'Manage Memory'
- Select 'Clear'
- On the 'Okay to Clear' confirmation select 'Yes'
- Go back to the main menu and you should be good to go - don't forget to set autosave to on on the MiSTer menu screen
Make sure your MiSTer main is from 2023-08-08 or Later

- Help game XXXXXXXXX doesn't work
- The core is still WIP!
- Does the core support CHD?
- Yes
- I get a black screen when starting the core
- Make sure to have boot.rom in your /games/saturn directory. If it doesn't boot you can load the bios from the menu
- Does the core have sound?
- Yes, but your experience may vary
